How to Care for Your Skin in Spring

Spring is here, which means now is the perfect time to make sure you have a great skin care routine specifically for you. With spring bringing warmer weather and allergy season to Chubbuck, this season is especially important in helping your skin adjust to the changes. Just massage some soap into your brush with water, squeeze out the extra moisture with a clean towel, and you should be good to go. Don’t forget to keep doing this process weekly even after spring!

Making sure that you’re getting enough water should always be a priority since it can help with so many health concerns. It’s no surprise then that staying hydrated can also be an amazing benefit for your skin. Your organs need water to function and with your skin being the largest organ, it’s important that you get enough water to prevent dry and flaky skin. From slowing aging and wrinkles to reducing puffiness and irritation, there are advantages to getting the recommended amount of water for your body.

Lather That Sunscreen On

We know that you’ve been waiting all winter for the sun to finally come out so you can work on your tan. Unfortunately, those UV rays from the sun are less than ideal for your skin and can even cause skin cancer if you’re exposed to them too often. You may even discover that what looks like a tan now can eventually leave your skin with brown spots and discoloration. It may feel like you’re missing out but applying sunscreen all over your body is essential for your skin care routine. Don’t forget to cover your face too to help it stay moisturized and prevent wrinkles.

Switch to a Lighter Moisturizer

While winter had you applying a heavy and thick moisturizer to keep your skin from getting dry, the same products won’t work for you during the entire year. As the weather starts to get warmer, those heavy products can start to leave a greasy layer on your skin.
